Day Three
Breakfast:
1 apple½ cup cantaloupe + 2 glasses of water
Breakfast in Day 3 may start light with an apple, but those who are looking for heavier meals may consume melon. When consuming melons for breakfast, it is important to have them supplemented with two glasses of water for better digestion.
Snack:
1 bowl of cherry tomatoes1 cup of pineapple or pear + 2 glasses of water
Lunch:
1 cup of salad (cucumber, carrots, and lettuce) + 2 glasses of water1 bowl of spinach with cucumbers and tomatoes
The diet regimen on Day 2 may be repeated on Day 3, but with more variety. Tomatoes may be included in lettuce-cucumber salads, but still, these should be dressed in olive oil or vinaigrette.
Snack:
1 orange1 orange + ½ cup of cantaloupe + 1 glass of water
Dinner:
1 bowl of kale with strawberries and avocado1 cup of salad (boiled broccoli + beets + spinach) + 2 glasses of water
A serving of boiled vegetables would be ideal during Day 3 dinners, and they can be followed up with fruit desserts like watermelon apple.
Foods To Avoid – Day 3
- Vegetables – Potato
- Fruits – Banana
- Protein – Meat, eggs, fish, beans, lentils, and mushrooms.
- Fats & Oils – Lard, butter, margarine, and safflower oil.
- Carbs –All carb-rich foods, including brown rice.
- Dairy – Full-fat milk, full-fat yogurt, frozen yogurt, ice cream, and cheese.
- Beverages – Alcohol, soda, sweetened drinks, vegetable smoothies or juices, packaged juices.
On the third day of the diet, one must stick to eating a combination of fruits and vegetables. These foods could be the same as that consumed in the first two days. The only foods that must be avoided are potatoes and bananas.
Halfway through the week, your body would have begun to adjust to the new diet. After a day of eating only vegetables, the fruits would be a welcome addition to it. The combination of fruits and vegetables also provides the body with the benefits of high fiber and protein.
You would also need to include 8 to 12 glasses of water in order to flush out all toxins from the body. You can also add the GM Diet Soup to your diet on the third day. In addition to replenishing your body, and giving the body all the nutrients it needs, this variety will also help satisfy your taste buds and break the monotony of the first two days. On this day, one must take care to avoid the consumption of bananas and potatoes.
