Day Six meal plan

Breakfast

1 glass carrot juice + ½ cup boiled legumes and 1/2 avocado

Breakfast on Day 6 may be started off with a bowl of mixed vegetables[recommended list]. These vegetables may be sauteed or stewed, so that they would have a more tender bite and taste. Having a bowl of vegetable soup with beef cutlets is likewise recommended, as this would keep the stomach satiated throughout the rest of the day.

Snack

1 cup of boiled vegetables + 2 glasses of water
1 cup cucumber slices + 2 glasses of water

Lunch

½ cup brown rice + ½ cup of veggies + Tofu/fish fillet
10-oz (284-g) grilled chicken breast with asparagus and cherry tomatoes.

During lunchtime, any form of mixed vegetables and beef may be eaten. Asian-style cooking is the best in this mealtime, as dishes under this cuisine consist mainly of beef and vegetables. A bowl of beef and broccoli may sound ideal for Western diet followers, but as much as possible do not include potatoes or bread.

Dinner

½ cup brown rice + ½ cup veggies + Chicken/cottage cheese + 2 glasses of water
10-oz (284-g) broiled salmon with kale and Brussels sprouts

Dinner may be served with vegetable soup and a hamburger (MEAT ONLY!!! NO BREAD!!!), especially when the follower has gone through a long and tiring day. The soup will light up the senses and replenish the lost energy, while the beef content brings back the protein, iron and fiber lost.

Foods To Avoid – Day 6

  • Fruits – All
  • Protein– Beef, pork, and turkey.

The GM Diet requires the individual to have cooked or uncooked vegetables. Vegetarians can opt for a cup of brown rice, while non-vegetarians can include a lean protein source like fish or chicken breast in their diet.

Another relatively high food intake day, the sixth day also follows a pattern similar to the previous day with the addition of cooked or uncooked vegetables. One must make sure that the vegetables are boiled and not fried. The salads should not have any heavy dressing either.

Non-vegetarians can consume up to 500 g of skinless chicken along with vegetables apart from tomatoes and potatoes. In addition to the previous day’s foods, the mix of vegetables on day 6 also provides the fiber the body requires.

Ideally, one must avoid all fruits along with potatoes and sweet potatoes. On the sixth day, the weight loss with now be visible.
